*A Junior is a Skater who has not reached the age of 19 before July 1st preceding the competition. The number of skaters may warrant further classification of Jr. A (not reached 19 before 7/1/14), Jr. B (not reached 17 before 7/1/14), Jr. C (not reached 15 before 7/1/14), or Jr. D (not reached 13 before 7/1/14) at the discretion of the race director.
~The number of master skaters may warrant further classification of 10-year age categories (from age 30 onward) at the discretion of the race director.
Notes:
We are using a chip-based timing system and skaters will receive two chips at check-in (after refundable deposit). Skaters are responsible for attaching a timing chip to each ankle before their races and returning the timing chips after each day of their competition has completed.
Initial seeding will be based upon www.speedskatingresults.com of most recent results within two years.
Categories may skate together at the discretion of the race director.
